NATIONAL CANDIDATE FOR HAWKE’S BAY

♦—— (P.A.) HASTINGS, August 25. Mr Robert Douglas Brown, a public accountant, of Hastings, has been selected as the National Party candidate for the Hawke's Bay electorate. For a number of years Mr Brown has been associated with local bodies in Hawke’s Bay, but this will be his first venture into national politics. There were two aspirants for the position, the other being Mr H. M. Sinclair, a farmer, of Tangoio.
