(P.R.) / WELLINGTON, August 25. , The newly-appointed Chief of the General Staff, Brigadier E. Puttick, D.$.Q., who has been sorting in the Middle with the New Zealand forces, is expected to return to the Oo* minion early next month, according to . an announcement made tp*night by the ActingPrime Minister (this Hon. W. Nash), The return of Brigadier Puttick to take over his new duties will make no difference to the position of General' Sir Guy Williams, military adviser on loan to the New Zealand Government. General Williams is preparing a report for the Government on the defence of New Zealand, and his work is not yet completed.
