WINTER'HELP SCHEME IN GERMANY
(8.0. W.) RUGBY, August 24. The German newspapers announce that the winter help scheme and deductions from salaries for its upkeep will begin on September 1, which is earlier than last year. It is explained that this step is due to the much increased help needed for families who have lost relatives in the eastern war.
