Interesting bouts with clever boxing were seen yesterday morning, when the Cathedral Grammar School held its annual boxing tournament in the Toe H rooms. Results:— '
Heavy-weight.—First round: Davis (Bst 121b) beat E. Wilson (9st); Coulter (9st 7lb) beat Pinfold (9st 91b); Debenham (9st 121b) beat E. Johnston (9st 121b); Dodgson (lost 11b) beat French-Wrlglit (9st 111b).. Second round: Coulter beat □avis; Dodgson beat Debenham. Final: E. R. Dodgson beat K. M. Coulter. Light Heavy-weight.—First round: Brain (7st 111b) beat Ellena (8st); Griffiths (Bst) beat Degg (Bst 31b); McAllister (Bst 61b) beat Vincent (Bst 81b). Second round: McAllister beat Griffiths. Final: J. H. McAllister beat J. C. Brain.
