STONE’S DIRECTORY
I ♦ t FORTIETH EDITION ! ' PUBLISHED With more than 1400 pages of names and addresses of private persons, organisations, and commercial houses, as well as a wealth of general information relating to the whole Dominion, the latest issue of Stone’s Canterbury, Nelson, Marlborough, and Westland. Directory, now in its fortieth year of publication, is to hand. To ensure all possible accuracy, the names and addresses have again been compiled by means of a house-to-house canvass, and all other information has been obtained from official and other reliable sources. With the aid of special references, a person looking for a name, of which he knows the pronunciation only, will be able to find simply the necessary name—where, otherwise, he might be at a loss because of an unusual mode of spelling. No trouble has been spared in compiling the information, which includes a summary of commercial, statistical, and legal data, complete with tables and a comprehensive index, and this directory should be an asset in every office.
