SUPPORT FOR SOVIET
PEOPLE’S CONVENTION (Received July 7, 7 p.m.) LONDON, July 6. The People’s Convention passed a resolution offering full support to the Government in the fight beside the Soviet against Hitlerism. Mr D. N. Pritt, K.C., a member of the House of Commons, moving the resolution, urged a full military alliance among Britain, the Soviet, and the United States. He complained that there was still a certain chilliness in Government circles toward the Soviet.
