SANATORIUM FOR SOLDIERS
BUILDING EXPECTED TO BEGIN SOON The building of a sanatorium unit for soldiers returning from the war is expected to begin soon at Cashmere. The work is to be done by the Government. The North Canterbury .Hospital Board was advised yesterday by the Director-General of Health (Dr. M. H. Watt) that tenders had now been called for the work. He regretted that because of staff shortage and other reasons the preparation of plans had taken longer than, was expected.
