MAN’S DEATH ON HILLS
VERDICT AT INQUEST A verdict that Thomas McHale, aged 81 years, of Linwood. Hied from injuries suffered in a fall over a cliff on May 8, when walking from Diamond Harbour to Okain’s Bay, was returned by the coroner, Mr E. C. Levvey, in an inquest concluded at Lyttelton yesterday. Evidence was given by Dr. B. H. Gilmour that an examination of the body had disclosed a fractured skull and other severe injuries, consistent with a fall from a height. Sergeant W.
