Minister of Historic Churches.—The Rev. Bernard Cockett (Sydney), who has been elected president of the Congregational Union of Australia and New Zealand, has been minister of historic churches in England, Tasmania, and New South Wales. He is-the only Australian to have been a minister m John B'unyan’s church in Bedford, England. A few years earlier he had been minister of the Memorial Church at Hobart, which was established in 1830 and he is the present minister of the historic Pitt Street Congregational Church in Sydney.
