PATRIOTIC RACE AT RICCARTON MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED COMPETITORS More than 100 runners took part in the second annual patriotic race held by the Canterbury cross-country committee »t Hlccarton racecourse on Saturday. The A grade race was won by R. Mooney (Christchurch), who covered the two laps of the course in llmtn 56sec, finishing a second ahead of A. H. Wayman (Methodist). B grade and Junior races were also held, and some keen finishes were seen. Detailed results are as follows: A Grade.—R. Mooney (Christchurch), 17min 56sec, 1; A. H.
