$ MINISTER’S APPEAL TO WORKERS LONDON, June 6. The Minister for Labour (Mr Ernest Bevjh) said in London last night that Herr Hitler had made an important admission in acknowledging that he could not bring Britain down until 1942. By that time; said Mr Bevin, the whole weight of the resources of the United States would .be thrown into the struggle. He said that the next three months would be vital, and he made an appeal to workers to increase production, to “lick the enemy,” which had more than seven years’ start. He would not like to be able to say that Britain’s difficulties had increased because the output of the factories was not high enough. _____________
