MR LANGSTONE AND MR COATES SUPPLY OF MUNITIONS AND TRADE TALKS ,pA) WELLINGTON, May,7; • The New Zealand Government has decided to send the Minister for Lands; (the Hon. F. Langstone) to the United States for the purpose of initiating and promoting trade negotiations, particu larly in the sale of dairy produce, meat, and other primary according to an announcement:mad. by the Minister for Finance (the Hon. W M? leave at an early date. He will be accompanied by officers of the Customs, Supply, ana Marketing Departments. He .wiU also make preliminary arranipmente for the establishment of a New Zealand legation in Washington. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates has also been requested by the Go vernment and the War Cabinet, continued Me Nash, to visit the United States to organise and expedite arrangements for the supply of munitions necessary to the defence of the Dominion.
