RANGIORA HORSE FAIR
Seventy horses were entered but there was a poor demand- at the monthly horse fair in Rangiora yesterday. Top price was £3O for a hack, and some draughts brought £2l. Good young draughts brought from £7 to £l2, while some exceptional ones made, to £lB. Other draughts made from £1 to £5, hacks £1 to £4, and unbroken three-year draughts from £4 to £8 10s.
