H. T. Armstrong), who had previously promised to inspect the protection works, asking him when he expected to be able to do so. Yesterday the secretary to the River Trust (Mr L. W. Harley) received a telegram from Mr Armstrong stating that he had arranged with the, Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes. M.P., to meet the trust at its office on Monday, May 5, at 3 p.m., to hear representations and afterwards to inspect the works.
