'V’OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Springs County Council held on Thursday, the Thirteenth day of March, One thousand, nine hundred and forty-one, the following Resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held at the Office of the Springs County Council, Sprlngston, on Thursday, the Seventeenth day of April, One thousand nine hundred and forty-one, at 10.30 a.m., as a Special Order:— THAT in pursuance of the provisions of “Ihe. Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926” and its amendments, and of “The Rural Housing Act, 1939” and of all other Acts and powers in that behalf enabling the Springs County Council DOTH HEREBY RESOLVE by way of Special Order as follows; 1. THAT the Council raise from the State 1 Varices Corporation of New Zealand man of Four thousand pounds t T£4OOO) or so much thereof as ■may be required for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under The Rural Housing Act, 1939," such loan to be called “The Rural Housing Loan, 1941, £4000.” .. . 2. THAT the Council repay halfyearly in reduction of the loan an amount equal to the sum of all amounts which are expressed to be payable to the Council during the halfyear ending on each halfyearly date by the agreements entered into with the Council by the various farmers to whom the loan moneys are to be advanced. 3. THAT Interest at the rate of £3 per cent, oh unpaid principal be paid by the Cdunoil calculated on the daily debtor belan'co, of, the Council in; the accounts of the lender. . 4. THAT the security for the charges in respect of such. loan shall be a Special Rate of l/16d in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Springs.
