NORTH BEACH SURF CLUB’S CONTEST The North Beach Surf Club’s annual competitions were held on Sunday. Weather and sea conditions were perfect. OPENING OF NORTH BEACH SCHOOL BATH The swimming bath for the North Beach School has almost been completed by the "working bee” of residents and school committee members, which undertook the completion of the work recently, when the Public Works Department was unable to continue construction. The bath will be opened officially by the Hon. D. G. Sullivan (Minister for Supply) on Saturday;
