OBITUARY
MR W. K. ANDERSON
The death occurred at Christchurch last week of Mr William Keith Anderson, of Merlewood avenue, Cashmere. Mr Anderson was born at Ashburton in 1914, but had resided at Cashmere since 1920. He was educated at St. Andrew's College, and was- studying for his B.Com. degree at Canterbury University College before entering the R.N.Z.A.F! in April, 1940. Before war broke out, Mr Anderson was training in the Civil Reserve of Pilots, and was a member of the Canterbury Aero Club. His flying training was undertaken at - Levin, Taieri and Wigram flying schools, at the conclusion of which he was gazetted as a Pilot Officer in October, 1940. In civil life he was in the banking department of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operativle Association, and was an associate registered member of the New Zealand Society of Accountants. His main sporting interests were ski-ing and golf. He was a member of the Aorangi Ski Club, and the Harewood Golf Club.
