ACCIDENTS
( SIX PERSONS INJURED
MOTOR-CARS COLLIDE NEAR INVERCARGILL

INVERCARGILL, January. 19. Six persons were injured, two seriously, when a motor-car in which they were travelling towards the city collided with another car at Kew shortly after midday to-day. The vehicles ■somersaulted several times. The victims were:—
James Sandrl, aged 44, of Roxburgh, shock and head injuries, condition serious. Eunice Sandri, aged 49, wife of John Sandri, fractured spine and ribs, condition serious. John Sandri, aged 60, Invercargill, injuries to left leg and head. Treated and discharged. June Sandri, aged 17, daughter of John Sandri, severe lacerations on right arm and shock, condition fair. Garfield Sandri, aged 17. son of James Sandri, shock and abrasions, condition fair. Helen O’Donnell, aged two years, shock and abrasions, condition satisfactory.
WOMAN’S ARM BROKEN
Mrs Cross, of 88 Breezes road, Aranui, broke her right arrh when she slipped and fell at the fair in Latimer square on Saturday afternoon. She was taken to hospital by ambulance and treated as an outpatient. CYCLIST INJURED Hector McDonald, aged 25. of Madras street, was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital suffering from concussion shortly after midnight. on Saturday. His injuries were suffered when his bicycle collided with a motorcar. His condition is satisfactory. .
