Mr L. M. Smart, C.8.E., General Manager of the Federated Malay States Railways, accompanied by Mrs Smart, has arrived in New Zealand to spend two months* furlough here. Mr and Mrs Smart intend visiting the South Island fifst, and will work northward. Mr T. R. Buxton, a former New Zealand University athletic blue, has rejoined the staff of the John McGlashan College, Dunedin. Mr Buxton went to England seven years ago, and acquired valuable! experience in He will, in addition to his scholastic duties, act as house and sports master. _
