OBITUARY
MRS CATHERINE OWEN The death occurred recently of Mrs Catherine Ann Owen, widow of Dr. H. L. Gwen (H.M. Forces, 1914 to 1918). Mrs Owen was a trained, nurse and was a sister at the Maternity Rotunda Hospital, Dublin. She came to New Zealand lor health reasons, but was more than 70 years of age when she died; Her death will be regretted particularly by the older residents- of Raetihi. the West Coast, and Picton, where her _husband ..had practised for many yearsl' She is survived by two, dapgh-ters;-.'-Kathleen and Phlllys, of Wellington, and two'sons, Mr J. Owen, Mastcrtom and Mr T» Owen, on active service’overseas.
