JOHANNESBURG, December 13. "Mussolini is beaten and his army pf 300,000 is in wild flight,” said the, Prime Minister of South Africa (General Smuts) in a speech.
"Italy has still 200.000 men in Abyssinia, but m will talk about them next Christmas. I do not believe that the war will be over then, put South Africa will see that the menace to its future happiness and independence is banished from Africa."
