WINTER SPORTS IN NEW ZEALAND
Winter sports is the subject of the latest issue of the centennial pictorial surveys "Making New Zealand." Rugby, the national game, naturally takes pride of place, and some valuable records of the early history of the game in New Zealand’are reproduced. Early representative fixtures are recalled and recent epoch-making matches are also reported. Boxing, wrestling, snow sports, golf, hockey, basketball, and indoor pastimes are all interestingly sun-eyed.
