The wool opened up in splendid condition, especially tne earlv-shorn hoggets. Back countrywool was in better condition than tor some years past. Values were:— Merino— Extra super to 20a, super 17d to Ifld. average ltd to 17d. Fine Halfbred—Extra super to 13d. super lad to 183 d. average 13d to ajd. Medium Halfbred— Super lad to l.d, average I2jd to 14d. Fine Crossbred—Extra super to 16d, super 14d to 13d, average I2d to Uid. Medium Crossbred— Extra super to I4Jd. super 13d ,to 133 d. average 12d to 123 d. ~, Coarse Crossbred —Super to I4d, average 11 Jd to 12-Jd. Hogget Wool—Merino: Super lid -o 2QJd, medium I4d to 13Jd, Halfbred: Super ISd to 17|d, medium 14d to laid. Fine crossbred: Super 13d to 16-1 d, medium 13d to 14Jd. Crossbred; Super 14d to 16d, medium 12d to 131 d. Fecks —-Merino 14d to 17d, halfbred 13d to 143 d. Pieces—Merino lid to lad, halfbred 9id to 14d. "Bellies—Merino lid to 12Jd, halfbred lOd to 12d, crossbred Bid to lOd. Crutchings—Merino 3d to 94d. halfbred 7d to 10id, crossbred 8d to lOd. Locks—Merino ssd to 7d, halfbred 5d to 6id, crossbred 4d to 5Jd.
