GENERAL SERVICE CORPS
SUCCESS IN TRANSPORT TESTS Members of the transport section of the General Service Corps, affiliated
with the Women’s War Service Auxiliary, went through their heavy transport test recently, under the direction of officers of the traffic department. The test set was the same as that given
to the Army transport drivers, and the percentage of points gained by the whole class was 86. Some of the members gained the full marks of 100. One of the girls' in this class not only has her light and heavy transport licence, but also holds a licence to drive a
bulldozer and road machines. The following members gained their heavy . transport licences;— Mrs O. Herdman, Mrs G. Gunn, and Miss Y. Sepie (transport leaders), Miss D. Brown, Mrs A. T. Bell, Mrs D. Climie, Miss S. Christie, Miss G. Drummond, Mrs Y. Dawson, Mrs A. S.' Geddes, Mrs R. M, Jenkins, Mrs K. B. Mabin, Miss C. Mortimer, Mrs S. Mcßride, Mrs C. McCormack, Mrs P. O’Shea, Mrs E, Rudkin, Mrs F. E, Twyford, Mrs A. O. Thompson.
