NORWEGIAN SHIP CAPTURED

RAIDER IN INDIAN OCEAN (Received December 13, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 12. The Tokyo correspondent of the Associated Press of Great Britain states that a German raider is reported to have captured the Norwegian tanker Ole Jacob (8306 tons) in the Indian Ocean and brought her to Kobe with a prize crew aboard. Later the vessel sailed for an unknown destination. The whereabouts of the Norwegian crew are unknown. It is added that the raider, which was flying the Union Jack, halted the Ole Jacob, ostensibly for inspection, before disclosing its identity.
