CHRISTMAS ARRANGEMENTS ANNOUNCED

WELLINGTON, December 13. The Minister for Social Security (the Hon. W. E. Parry) said to-day that it had been decided to make war pensions, war veterans’ allowances, and social security benefits (other than sickness and unemployment benefits) available for collection on or after Friday, December 20. Unemployment and sickness benefits for the weeks ended December 21 and 28 and January 4 would be paid in one amount in the week ending December 21.
