STREET APPEAL
YOUNG MEN’S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION Collectors are urgently required for the street appeal on December 18 by the Young Men’s Christian Association. An appeal will be made to the citizens of Christchurch and surrounding districts for their support to enable the association to carry on with its work. Funds are required now more than ever, and as only one street appeal is made each year, it is hoped that the public will give generously. To make the appeal a success depends largely on the number of collectors, and as there are still a large number needed, those willing to assist are asked to ring the general secretary, telephone 33-527.
