CAUCUS CONFIRMS POSITION OP MR FRASER [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.! ' WELLINGTON, November 29. The Rt. Hon. P. Fraser was to-day selected by the Parliamentary members of the Labour Party as their leader for the next three years. The party, v/ithout opposition, at a very brief caucus, confirmed Mr Fraser in his office as Prime Minister. ( When he became Prime Minister on the death of Mr Savage, Mr Fraser gave an undertaking that an opportunity would be given members view the constitution of the Cabinet and his position was the first to come under view, , , .. .. An official statement issued after the caucus said: “Members of the Parliamentary Labour Party met this morning, immediately before the House resumed at 10.30, to elect a leader for the ensuing, three .years. There was only one nomination—that of Mr Fraser — 1 who was elected Unanimously and with acclamation.” ■
