Alchemy Rediscovered and Restored. By A. Cockrell. Rider and Co. 158 pp. (7/6.) Through Whitcombe and Tombs Ltd. Those who take an interest in the history of out-of-the-way speculations will find this account of the search for the “philosopher’s stone" to their taste., The author is not satisfied with writing a history of his subject, but has contributed a theoretical investigation as well.
