Miss Jean Wood, daughter of Mr apd Mi's Peter Wood (Papanui road), will leave to-morrow night for Auckland where she will spend the next three months.

At the monthly meeting of the Yaldhurst Sub-Centre of the Rod Gross Society, Mrs T, A, Guy welcomed Lady Wigram and Mrs j. G. L. Vernon. who spoke on Red Cross and V.A.D. activities. In connexion with entertainments held during the winter, it was decided to send letters of appreciation to the Yaldhurst School Committee and to Daun’s Band.
