* PROGRAMME OF PART SONGS An interesting and varied programmi of part songs will be presented by thi Male Voice Choir at the Radiant Hal to-night. The choir’s numbers will in elude three gay and colourful gips; songs by Brahms, and Elgar’s vigorou marching song. “Zut! zut!” Special in terest lies in the delicate interweav ing of the melody in the sixteenth cen tury madrigal “All Creatures Now An Merry Minded,” written by Benet ii honour of Queen Elizabeth. A markei contrast is heard between the stirrin, harmonies of “The Hymn of the Pil grims” (Macdowell), and the quie beauty of Wood’s graceful compositior “When Thou Art Nigh.” The assisting artists are Mrs Waite Ross, who will sing two brackets c soprano solos, and Mr Noel Newsor who will play Brahms’s Ballade in C Minor, and Chopin’s Impromptu in ( flat major.
