KINDERGARTEN APPEAL TO-DAY

The annual street collection for the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association will be held to-day, Daffodil Day. In making an appeal for public support, a statement issued by the association says that only one appeal is made each year, and that the association relies on the generosity of the public to enable the work to be continued. The headquarters this year will be the Red Cross Shop in High street. All kinds of goods will be on sale at the shop, cakes, plants, vegetables, preserves, and other articles. A feature of the sale will be a number of surprise packets. i.
