CANTERBURY PATRIOTIC COUNCIL

FIRST MEETING OF FULL PERSONNEL The full personnel of the Canterbury Provincial Patriotic Council, on which every local body in Canterbury is represented, will be called together for the first time next Wednesday, when a meeting in- Christchurch will consider proposals for the zoning of the provincial district as a means of securing more effective administration. The division of the area into six zones has been suggested. The meeting, too, wdll discuss plans for a campaign for Canterbury’s share of the £1,000,000 fund which is the objective <Jf provincial patriotic organisations., A full report of the activities of the council and expenditure of the fund to date will be presented to the meeting.
