Milne with his customary whimsical touches. The author gives the onlookers the whole of his secrets and yet has them completely baffled to the last moment. The cast includes Marion Smail. Lillian Hall. Judy Barker. Olive Gee. Douglas Dali. Denis Buchanan. G. S. Salter, Gordon Wilson, Charles Hobbs. Professor L. G. Pocock. and Guy Cotterill. The play is produced by Nancy Nicholson. The box plan is at the D.I.C. Balloon Breaks A%vay.—Breaking loose over North London, a barrage balloon, with its fins in shreds and its cable snapping like a whip, soared up and down for three hours before the •cable twisted round the pinnacle of St. Mark’s Church. Finsbury. The pinnacle crashed to the ground and the balloon finally broke away and quickly disappeared from sight.—Rugby, August 23.
