WRESTLING
♦ / BLOMFIELD MEETS CORBETT All Christchurch wrestling enthusiasts are looking forward to the second local appearance of the season of SergeantMajor "Lofty” Blomfield, which will be made at the Theatre Royal on Wednesday night against Joe Corbett, the Bostonian. who combines good looks and remarkable physique with outstanding wrestling ability. From what has been seen of Corbett and • what is known of Blomfield It is obvious that the bout will be one of the best staged here for a long time, and intending patrons would be well advised to book their seats without delay. There is no doubt that Blomfield possesses the secret which all wrestlers would give anything to have—how to give the public what it wants. It is not only that he does different things from what other wrestlers do, but also that he does the same things in a different way. Corbett also possesses ring individuality, apd he will see to it that all the excitement does not come from Blomfleld’s end.
