♦ ANNUAL MEETING OE ASSOCIATION The twenty-seventli annual meeting of the Canterbury Croquet Association was presided over by Mr A. G. F. Ross. A resolution was passed expressing satisfaction with the interest taken by clubs In the last season, and with the credit balance Shown in the annual report. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr A. G. F. Ross: vice-presi-dents, Mrs Beanland, Mrs Smithson, Mrs Moore, and Miss Gerard, Messrs-G. Richardson. P. Grant, S. McCullough, and H. A. Penn; Secretary and treasurer, Mrs J. ,p. Maddren; referee, Mr A Ross! auditor, Mr M. Somerville; handiciapper, Mrs Maddren; gazette' correspondent, Mr A. Murray; tournament committee, Mesdames Beanland, Gordon, Owen, and Miss McMillan, Messrs G. Richardson, A. Murray, H. A. Penn, H. Nettieton, and E. Cooksley; tournament manager, Mrs Maddren; assistant manager, Mr Richardson. It was decided to begin the annual open tournament on January: 30, and the junior llowraameot oo ?ebruaw 20.1910, ■
