The teams were even, and the speaking was of a high standard. The judges. Dr. Jobberns and Mr Smith, awarded the decision to the Workers’ Educational Association, who were represented by Messrs D. Smalley, I. C. MacFarlane. nd L. Warburton. Canterbury College was represented by Messrs M. A. Jermyn, C. Bilcliff, and R. Quentin-Baxter.
