SYDENHAM CLUB The balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Sydenham Bowling Club recently revealed a credit balance of £2O and an excess of assets amounting to £926. The' president (Mr C. Coombes; match committee, Messrs L. Dewar, A. Besley, J. Scott; afternoon players, Messrs C. Nlall, J. Gilbert,, J. Coombes. WOOLSXON CLUB The annual meeting of the Woolston Bowling Club was held recently, and the president, Mr Baxandall, congratulated members on the splendid co-ope-ation achieved during their first playing year. For a new club, they had done remarkably well, special thanks being due to the social committee for their untiring efforts in building up the club’s funds. Officers for the year are:—President, Mr G. W. Samms; vice-president, Mr R. Burgess; secretary, Mr D. Fraser: treasurer, Mr F. Smith; executive committee, Messrs Baxandall, Short, Escott, Kaye, Parrott. Cairns; social committee, Messrs Escott, Robinson, Parrott, . Broadbelt, Cairns: selector. Mr R. Burgess; deputy selector, Mr M. Bugg; handicapper, Mr F. Baxandall: delegate to centre. Mr F. Baxandall; match committee, Messrs Baxandall, Fraser, R. Jones; selector mid-week competitions, Mr F. Robinson.
