ENLISTMENT BADGES

TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS Sir,—After reading the notice (clipping enclosed) in this morning’s issue, I made a personal application at military headquarters, but could obtain not the slightest information regarding the proposed issue of badges to applicants for overseas service who had been turned down for medical reasons. If you have any information as to the time and place for us to apply, would you be kind enough to print a short notice.—Yours, etc., KEEN. June 20. 1940. [lt was stated at military headquarters that an advertisement would be placed in the newspapers when the badges were ready for distribution.] .
