WAR CABINET
FURTHER NEGOTIATIONS REPORTED [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.] ' WELLINGTON, June 23. Though it is reported' that further negotiations on the formation of a War Cabinet and the proposal for the Opposition to join the War Council have taken place, the Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser) had no statement to make when he was questioned tonight. The course which the final stages of the debate on the Imprest Supply.’ Bill took in the House of Representatives on Thursday night suggested that conversations had been resumed. The basis of the latest negotiations will probably be discussed on Tuesday at a caucus of the Labour Party.
