RANGIORA COUNTY COUNCIL. "PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, JL pursuant to the Rating Act, 1925, Sections 51 to 58, and the Counties Act, 1920, Sections 120 and 121, that it is the intention of the Rangiora County Council at its next Ordinary Meeting, to be held in the County Office, Rangiora, on Friday, July 12th, to make and levy a General Rate of (15/16ths) fifteen-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the Capital Value of the Rateable property in the Rangiora Riding, and a General Rate of (15/16ths) fifteen sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the Capital Value of the Rateable property in the Cust Riding, also a Hospital Rate of (iths) of a penny in the pound on the Capital Value of the Rateable property in the Rangiora County; also a Special Road Consolidating and ■ Sealing Loan Rate of (13/50ths) thir-teen-fiftieths of a penny in the pound on the Capital Value of the Rateable property in the Rangiora County; also rates as directed by the Ashley River Trust and the Waimakariri River Trust. All such rates to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April. 1940, and ending on the 31st day of March. 1941, and shall be due and payable in one sum, on the 19tb day of August, 1940, at the County Office, Rangiora. where the Valuation Roll is Open for Inspection.
