This astoundingly powerful drama fearlessly exposes the methods of the Californian millionaire fruitgrowers. There was a very successful attempt to bar the book in California, in fact at one time it was not possible to procure a copy in any one of the Californian libraries—only a few copies being able to be procured by keen readers.
