GIFT PARTY
Mrs H. B. Lill, Rudleigh avenue, Riccarton, was hostess at a “pantry” gift party in honour of Miss Rhona Smith (Fernside), whose marriage will take place shortly. Musical items were given by Miss Joyce Durham. Winners of competitions were Miss Rhona Smith, Mesdames I. Jamieson, T. A. Walker, and R. Talbot. Those present were Mesdames W. Smith, I. Jamieson, P. Lill, T. A. Walker, N. Brown. R. Talbot (Teimuka), E. S. Ingham, J. T. Lill, J. Smith, W. Young, B. Catherwood, D. Spencer, A. Travella, C. Foulke, H. B. Lill, Misses Rhona Smith, Molly Butters, Violet Johnson, Joyce Durham. Lina Smith. E. Wright, J. Lill. A. Lill, K. Carey, Jessie Smith, Hazel McCallum, Joyce Smith, Caroline Lill, Joy and Shirley Lill.
