ANNUAL CAGE BIRD SHOW

PROFITS FOR PATRIOTIC

FUND The annual show now being helid by the Christchurch Canary, and Cage Bird Club in the Choral Hall is an outstanding display of all classes of birds. This year the club has excelled itself in entries and the total number on exhibition constitutes a record for New Zealand, there being more than 1000 birds on the show bench. The section for the foreign birds is particularly interesting, as birds from all parts of the world are on exhibition. The club is giving the whole of thej profits from the show to the Patriotic! Fund, and the show will be open toj the public to-morrow and Saturday.
