Lrxom uur uwn iteporxer.j FAIRLIE, June 10. A motion that the council request the Prime Minister to form a National Cabinet, put forward by Mr C. V. Kirke, was carried at a meeting of the Mackenzie County Council. A letter was received from the Wallace County Council asking for support for a petition to the Government asking for a 48-hour week, a 50 per cent, cut in holidays, and ordinary rates qf pay for overtime. The proposals in the letter were not favoured, and it was received.
