MARRIED WOMAN FOUND DEAD
[From Our Own Reporter.] TEMUKA, June ID. Mrs _ Alice Trezise, aged 53, was found in a bedroom of her home at Temuka this afternoon with a gunshot wound in her body. The discovery was made by the husband, Mr Thomas Trezise, when he returned to his home in Murray street in the outskirts of Temuka about 3 p.m. Dr. A. S. Mclnnes was called in but could only pronounce life extinct There was a gun beside the body. Investigations are being made by Inspector M. Flanagan, Detective E. M. Thomas (Timaru), and Sergeant M. E. Hill (Temuka). Mrs Trezise leaves two sons and a daughter. One son is a member of the police force in Christchurch. An inquest will be opened before the Coroner, Mr H. Morgan, at Temuka to-morrow morning for identification purposes.
