MASONIC GRAND LODGE
JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS The Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand, whose inaugural meeting took place in Christchurch on April 30, 1890, will begin its jubilee celebrations on Sunday with an afternoon service at the Christchurch Cathedral. The Bishop of Nelson (the Rt. Rev. ,W. G. Hilliard) will be the preacher. A motor drive in the afternoon and a conversazione at the Addington trotting grounds will comprise Monday’s celebrations, and. the only event on Tuesday will be the Grand Lodge’s jubilee meeting in the evening at the Civic Theatre. It is hoped that there will be many local visitors, as well as those visiting Christchurch for the occasion from other parts of New Zealand and Australia. Entertainment will be provided each day for women, including a visit to the Botanic Gardens and Art Gallery on Tuesday. — 'l' - ,l_ ' »
