Pensioners living in the City Council block of pensioners’ homes in Willard street on Wednesday made presentations to Miss M. G. Havelaar, Mr J. S. Barnett, and Mr J. W. Huggins. The presentations were an appreciation of work done for the council’s housing scheme, and the Mayor (Mr R. M. Macfarlane, M.P.) made them on behalf of the pensioners.
