ALIEN COMPANIES GAZETTED LOCATED IN MANY • COUNTRIES The names of 85 persons, firm* and companies overseas are listed in the Gazette as enemy traders, the Minister for Industries and Commerce (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) being satisfied that they are carrying on business extensively or to a . substantial extent for the benefit or* under the control of alien enemies , resident out of New Zealand. . The declaration that they are enemy traders under the Enemy Trading Emergency Regulations, 1939, means that further business with them is stopped. „ , . - The companies or persons cited m the Gazette have places of biusmess in the following countries: —Spam, Rumania, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Argentina, Denmark, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Holland, Switzerland, Greece, Latvia, Cuba, Morocco and Belgium.
