CHRISTCHURCH - GREYMOUTH— Horse train will leave Christchurch at 8.0 a.m., arriving Greymouth 2.35 p.m. Takes horses in Ug waggons from Christchurch. Addington, Sockburn, Templeton, and Rolleston. SATURDAY. 27th APRIL. CHRISTCHURCH - GREYMOUTH— Passenger train for Greymouth will leave Christchurch at 6.0 a.m. and arrive Greymouth 11.37 a.m. Stops at Addington, Sockburn, Darfield, Springfield, and Arthur’s Pass if required to pick up passengers for Greymouth. Return passenger train will leave Greymouth at 7.20 p.m. and arrive Christchurch 1.37 a.m. (28th). Horse-train will leave Greymouth at 9.0 ‘ p.m. for Christchurch. RACES AT TIMARU. SATURDAY, 27th APRIL, 1940. »pRAIN ARRANGEMENTS: On 27th Anril special passenger train will leave Christchurch at 6.40 a.m.„ Ashburton 9.5 a.m., arriving at Racecourse at 10.33 am. This train will, if required, stop at Addington, Sockburn, Templeton, Rolleston, Dunsandel, Rakaia, Chertsey, Ashburton, Hinds, Orari, and Temuka to pick up passengers. Also conveys racehorses from Christchurch, Addington, Sockburn, Templeton. Rakaia, and Ashburton. The 8.35 a.m. Express train from Christchurch will stop at Washdyke and will connect there with Racecourse Special. Return train making the same stops as outward special to set down and at Washdyke to pick up passengers, leaves Timaru 5.12 p.m. and arrives CtvristcVvaTch SAS p.tn.. The Invercargill-Christchurch express leaving Timaru 4.34 p.m. will stop at Washdyke to pick up passengers for stopping stations. ) Special train for horses will leave the Racecourse for Christchurch as soon as. the horses are loaded after! the races.
